Physics Project Reflection #2

Tape is fast and easy to use but very unstable and easy to remove/move.

The building of the track had to be very precise in order for the marble to go through at the right speed.

I am very satisfied with the progress we've made from nothing to a nice physics example.

The fact that the roller coaster worked at some points and didn't at others drived me nuts. Its instability is very frustruating.

Realizing how the rules and theory are accurate and true have been the best experiences during this project. I love it when it works!

Physics reflection #3

I am very satisfied with the progress we've done so far because we have made various changes and were able to make educated decitions.

Sometimes the marble wouldn't take the curve how we wanted and would just go straight in the same direction as it started caused by Inertia. For that reason we decided to have a twist in the tube so it blocked the marble right in the curve. What is truly frustruating is the instability of the roller coaster and how sometimes it works and others it doesn't because it is moved slightly.

I think the best we've done is the usage of styrofoam and toothpicks which make the structure more stable.
